The Human Resources Department plays a vital role supporting the College through the delivery of the People Strategy. This is a pivitol role to making a difference and continuously move our Human Resources Service forward.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced generalist HR practitioner who is a graduate member of the CIPD, or willing to achieve Level 5 CIPD qualification, to join our team as an HR Officer. Someone with an eye for improving transactional services, through their experience of process engineering, into digital ones, and where appropriate introducing the use of Artificial Intelligence, in order to improve efficiency and quality standards. You will also be experienced at producing data with an informed narrative.
You will manage the day-to-day activities of the front of house Human Resources Advisor team and ensure that managers, staff and other stakeholders receive a high standard of customer care. You will co-ordinate the implementation of continuous improvement for the HR transactional service and co-ordinate the accurate and timely input of data ensuring it is compliant with the relevant regulations and legislation. You will also identify and advise on trends emerging from those data reports and make recommendations on areas for improvement.

Salary: Job family Group 4 (Pay range SCP 22 to SCP 26)
£29,382 - £32,978 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.
