The Construction and Built Environment School at Preston College is recruiting for a Lecturer in Brickwork to inspire and engage the next generation. Teaching Levels 1 to 3, you will teach your learners through a programme of practical and theoretical sessions.
We are seeking someone with passion, drive and enthusiasm to join our construction teaching team as we continue to provide the local community with learning opportunities that support their career goals. You will be able to adapt your teaching to ensure that everyone succeeds and progresses on their learning journey.
The ideal candidates will be able to evidence their skills and technical knowledge of brickwork and will be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant occupational area. A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don’t have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.

Job Title: Lecturer Brickwork
Salary: From SCP 24 (£32,494) to SCP34 (£43,674) per annum (pro rata for part time) salary based on qualifications and experience. There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.
Hours: 1.0FTE, 37 hours per week
