Lecturer: Health and Social Care

The School of Business, Health and Uniformed Services plays a vital role in the College’s ability to respond to local and regional business needs whilst serving the community we are so proudly a part of.  The provision of Health and Social Care is an area where we believe new energies, ideas, innovation and subject leadership will have a profound change effect and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with us to achieve this.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified individual who is a forward thinking individual to join our Health and Social Care team. You will be qualified to Degree Level and have experience in teaching up to level 3 in Vocational qualifications, with the ability to teach effectively to both 16-18s and Adults. We are a motivated team and are proactive in our approache to current education reform. Experience of teaching T Levels and knowledge of current initiavies within the FE sector would be advantageous.

The department regards the performance and achievement of each individual learner as a priority and work tirelessly to ensure that all learners exceed beyond expectations in every aspect of their course. We are a hardworking and committed team very much looking for a new colleague who can share, maintain and help build our levels of aspiration and ultimately support us in creating the most employable learners.

Salary:                                               From SCP 24 £32,494 to SCP 34 £43,674 per annum (pro rata for part time) salary based on qualifications and experience There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.

Hours:                                               18.5  per week -  Permanent (0.5FTE)
